Hi all , wondering if you can help.

when I fitted a Legrand dimmer switch to my 2 way circuit the lights were dimming and then brightening constantly on there own? At first I thought that maybe a duff switch so I replaced it but still does same thing. The switch it the main switch on the 2 way, ie it has the live in and switched live out from and to the rose plus the three core to switch 2. I expected it to be just a straight swap but that did not work. The bulbs are not Energy saving or Gu's, just 5 normal 25w candle bulbs in two fittings so 10 in total making max wattage 250w and switch is rated to 300w??????

Any clues on the problem peeps :?:

thanks

Perhaps the touch dimmer is not designed to work in a two way switching circuit.

Perhaps the there are only two terminals for Live and Switched Live ( as in single pole switch with dimming ) and a third terminal that is a input for a control wire from a remote control for the dimmer.
