Agree with the great voice bit - she really is superb, and yes, she absolutely deserved to win - but personality? Are you having a laugh? My coffee table has more personality.

Hopefully this will turn out to be a good thing, as she won't suddenly start flouncing around turning into a showbiz diva. Time will tell...

i think winning is irrelevant, all of them in the last 5-10 or so have probably secured recording contracts.
