Hi , as the title suggests I have a kicthen quarry tiled floor , at least 50 years old and as solid as a rock. The problem is that there used to be a partition wall splitting my kitchen into a kicthen / larder. The larder area is approx 40mm higher than the furthest point from it. Would self levelling mix sort this or so i need a screed ?

many thanks

would probably crack if you lay it in 1 go might be easier to dig out the larder and redo that part of the floor to a lower level

The problem is that the floor is solid concrete underneath which would be a nightmare to dig out
