Oo I watched an edition of 'New Tricks' tonight (or rather it was on but I was concentrating on other stuff) and it was all about an elderly lady who was murdered and her cats got hungry. OMG talk about art mimicing life...
I sent the person I know who would like to purchase a whatsapp message:
Hi m8. Been inspected by council + declared uninhabital, cos all wood has rotted. me+2 more waiting council requirements for sale, looks they want it dozed. call tomoz
The New Tricks edition was repeated again last night and I paid a little more attention, at least the place looked good unlike OP!
The property is somewhat higher than the road, I'll guess about 30-35 steps with a garage in the basement, something like this but the proportions are very wrong as I'll hazard a guess the front garden is easily 30m long.
Where the greens are the ground and drive levels, red is flights of steps and black are retaining walls. It is tricky telling accurately as the whole place is so overgrown, the only place the drive is visible AFAIA is the top level adjacent to the front door but even that has trees growing in it.
Chatted to the guy today.
The report mentions ground heave and structural damage, rotten and infestation wood problems, including roof which is starting to sag and part of the 2nd floor has collapsed.
