LIGHT NOT WORKING

Sponsored Links
Everything appers to be normal here.

Your house is wired in double covered singles, which is an entirely normal way of wiring lighting circuits.

Just to double check, you connected both blacks together in the neutral terminal, the green / yellow to the earth terminal, and the red to live terminal?

Could you have blown a fuse whilst you were doing this work?

Do you own a multimeter?

i'm surprised it didn't work with red in L and blacks in N.
are you certain all bulbs in both rooms are ok?
is there a small switch built into the new spot fitting?

sorry to ask these questions but sometimes it pays to check the simplest things first.
