I had a new pvc ceiling put in my bathroom to replace the wooden one in July. The halogen lights that are in there are 50w and it has actually started to warp and crack the ceiling around the area of the lights, there is also a black ring around them. Is it just that the wattage is too much? Should I just replace the bulbs with as small as wattage as possible to avoid it getting any worse?
