Lights under the stairs

Hi I was wondering if you all could help. We have recently turned our under the stairs area into a playroom for my daughter. It used to serve as an extended kitchen area. The lights to the area aren't now working I'm assuming the bulb needs changing however iv never seen these type of lights before and I'm unature what they are called or how to change them.

That looks like one of these lamps. It just pulls off from that slightly yellowed connector behind it. It should really be held in place in the fitting though and not just loose.

If it doesn't just pull out, give it a twist, and then it's one of these lamps. But I'm inclined to think it's the former.

Be careful when you do try and remove it though, as not only is that lamp missing the cover, it's also missing the little halogen capsule from inside. Definitely turn the power off before you take it out
