looking on advices for using lining paper, ive removed wall paper, wall don,t look bad , im looking at painting walls instead off wall papering them, has anubody got any advices or techniques i should use on applying lining paper to walls to give a smooth finish before i paint them

i did the same make sure your walls are smooth i didn,t rub mine down even though i used grade 1000 lining paper when i put the light on i can see contours of every rough patch looks like a lunar land scape so take your time on the prep work
