Hello

I have read somewhere that i should install the extractor fan opposite the door to the bathroom to get the maximum airflow, however the door to our bathroom is always closed, surely I should locate the fan in the ceiling opposite the small bathroom window and leave this open shouldn't I?

Thanks

there is a gap under the bathroom door

the fan will suck warm, dry air from the rest of the house through this gap.
