loft light?

hello
i was wondering if it is OK to install two basic lights in my loft space but with out it having to be a "livable space."

if i can do this , i would cut into the existing lighting circuit which is in the loft and supply the new lights from here.
any tips or advice? thank you

is it possible to have the switch on the ceiling next to the loft hatch(in a drywall box)

also, if i put a junction box in between the other two existing roses. and take the switch cable and the light cable. with the light cable i am planning to feed one light and then daisy chain it to the next one ? is this possible? thanks

There are many ways to do it. What you just described sounds fine. Though the missus might have something to say about a lightswitch on the ceiling? Just friendly advice

If you do put a pull-switch there use one which has some kind of on/off indicator otherwise you'll be forever wondering if the loft light is on...
