I've got a self build garden room arriving as a pack and I'll need to store it outside in the garden for a few weeks.

I'll be making brick platforms to raise the timber off the ground, and cover them.

Is it better to:
Wrap all the timber in plastic wrap, air tight

Or just
Build a solid frame over them to protect from rain, and let them breathe?

Thanks

The timber might arrive soaking wet anyway....

I'm sure it will be fine left uncovered, just on bearers.

Defiantly don't wrap it up, that will probably lead to mould stains. A rigid sheet over the top, like corrugated iron, would be ideal. Don't put too much effort in to it!

Use spacers to allow the timber to breathe
