Longer TV power supply cable

I have just fitted a new TV to the wall, but sadly the power lead is too short.

I am not sure the name of the TV end, but it's like the image attached.

I have temporarily used a normal extension cable, but it seems longer cables are available online for not much money.

Do all cables with this fitting fit any TV

They're not all figure of 8 . Some have external power supplies for example

not all tv’s have this fitting some are hard wired .

I just cut the plug off mine and extended it with two core flex.

Yes if your TV is a figure of 8 then any figure of 8 will be ok

Yes. There is no kind of voltage adapter/power supply in that cable, all it does is supply 240v straight from the wall socket to the TV, and the TV has a power supply built into it. Any lead you can find with the two ends pictured will power the TV
