A few years ago I found Lidl were selling 1.2w LED tilt downlight kits- set of three lights inc bulbs, all wired together, for £12. Installed two packs in a small bedroom and whilst the light is a bit cold they have been absolutely fine. I know that the going rate for a set of three downlights inc halogens is about a tenner so I thought that £12 was pretty good going.
Being Lidl, of course, you can't just go and buy some more when you need them... so does anybody know where I can get a comparable deal today? Amazed at the prices some people are charging for downlights with LEDs already installed. It would be cheaper to buy ones with halogens and then throw away the bulbs!!
