Loose bricks above neglected bay window

There’s a house on our street that’s not in the best shape. They had some overgrown ivy on the side of their house and it’s been cut away to reveal this. Does this look like movement or has the ivy just eaten away at the pointing do you think? How serious does this look overall?

Possibly the old wooden lintel rotting, and yes the ivy wouldn't have helped.

How easy a job would repairing / replacing something like that be - lintel I mean

You need a fair degree of intrusive investigation to fully ascertain the damage/situation before considering what work is necessary.
For instance, there is quite a bit of flashing missing from the roof. This may have also added to any damage inside.
It will help to also have a good clean up of the visual surfaces to ascertain the amount of repair needed.
