Loose restrictior bar

Hi,

The restrictor bar on our pvc patio door has come loose at the end that attaches to the frame because the screws are no longer gripping properly. Is it better to buy bigger screws or move this end of the bar slightly and make new screw holes please?

Move it and install with new holes and new screws of the same size.
