My aged FIL has forgotten his wifi password on his phone.
The phone is a Samsung J3 and he is on talktalk.

Any idea how he can get back into it?

The wifi password is set on router/hub login to that from another computer and change/check. Failing that do a pin hole reset on the router and should go back to default which will be a little sticker on the router.
