low voltage lighting

My understanding is that the maximum load on a lighting circuit 240v with a 5amp fuse is 1200 watts.Is there a lower restriction where low voltage lighting using transformers is concern?

No in a word, but if you but big muckle wire wound trannys on a standard MCB the lights may trip when the torriodal tranny is switched off (or on)

That should be "extra low voltage lighting using transformers is concern" (sick).
