Believe it or not guys, this is the first time ive used low voltage lighting. Doing a bathroom that has 6 lv lights each with its own 60VA transformer. I have daisy chained them from the first in radial fashion. I have mounted the transformers to the wooden ceiling joists via screws and also the bracket for the end connectors to the lamp. Cleared the insulation around the each lamp by about 200mm. Does anyone do anything different or does that sound ok??

yep sounds ok

I put a different tranny for each light and DON'T screw them to the joist, that way you can pull them out from below to replace them in future.

sitll a good idea (essential) to remove loft insulation from fiting / trannys.
