Main Bond to Plastic Pipe?

I am currently at a job where the plumber is using plastic pipe as the mains water to 3 separate flats in the property and then all plastic pipe for the rest of the system.

Where do i stand with bonding the mains water in a situation like this then people? any advice/ knowledge on the subject is greatly appreciated

You don't need to bond plastic pipe!!

why would you need to bond plastic? is plastic a good electrical conductor?

Sadly enough I have heard about people installing a 6in piece of metal pipe where the plastic pipe enters the building just to bond to. The rest of the plumbing done in plastic!!
