will get a photo tonight, she is ringing dno for more imformation, but think it may turn into a nightmare for her, no signs of main bonding, no rcd etc etc.

There is no rod at property, but a main earth at db 4-6mm which appears to disappear along with supply lines through wall in loft to next door property.

See what the DNO say but the way forwards might be to bite the bullet and sink a rod in, then RCD protect the whole installation (using more than 1 RCD of course!).
