Hi All,

I have a small area I would like to tile in my bathroom (~1 square m). I scraped the paint, and it is now only plaster. I bought Mapei MapeGrip D1 for the tile adhesive, and I am wondering whether I should use it directly on the plaster, or first apply a primer (I bought Mapei Plaster Primer) before using the adhesive. Would you have a recommendation? Primer or not with D1 on plaster?

Note I will be fixing small metro tile.

Thanks.

If you've already bought the primer it's very little effort to use it now and a lot of effort to strip it all back later because something's dropped off after you thought it was all done and dusted.

Thanks. There is no indication if I should dilute the primer or not. Any advice on this?
