Im planning to tile my bathroom and I'm thinking i should do something to help the lime plaster not crumble before tiling. Is Mapai Primer G suitable for Lime plaster walls? I like the belt and braces approach so dont mind if it's a bit of an overkill.

Also what adhesive would you recommend for tiling 300x600, 8mm tiles (21kg/m) in a shower area, i plan to use cement based

Thanks
Simon

The answer is to not put tiles over old lath & plaster walls at all.
Remove the lot and reboard all of the walls.
