Marley eternit terrible service

as a property developer I have much cause to deal with providers of building products. Never before have I encountered such awful customer service as Marley Eternit. I purchased one of their most expensive tiles for a garage. The tile only comes in 2 colours. This company managed to incorrectly package the products as the wrong colour. My roofer in turn fitted the tiles. I ordered brown but received red. A regional manager visited admitted the error and said it would be dealt with by head office. I was then given a copy of a letter sent to Jewsons, my supplier blaming the colour on the way the clay had dried. Jewsons have also inspected the roof and admitted the wrong tiles have been supplied. However the regional manager refuses to return my calls. I would urge anybody considering ordering products from Marley to reconsider. There are plenty of alternatives out there who care about their customers. Be warned.

I wouldn't buy anything from Jewson either.... had a quote from them for Marley tiles and (from memory) it was around double what I paid instead to a specialist roofing supplier (proper VAT sale).

I agree with MW. Why not just post stuff on twitter and facebook etc. Big companies seem to care about this and I have had results with npower and mkm building supplies recently using this method
