Hi, maybe a daft question, are there different strengths of this? tackiness i mean?

Doing my living room atm and each time i remove the tape from my walls it's pulling paint with it. It does seem extremely sticky.

So are there weaker strengths?

Cheers

I often reduce the stickiness of it by sticking it against my clothing a couple of times before applying to the wall.

that may be an option mate, cheers, would certainly work

There is low tac masking tape available, motor trade use it I think.

but surely then you wont get a sharp edge?
Low tack tape (rather than £1 for 10 rolls from the market) is IMO the way to go - of course the paint should be COMPLETELY dry before applying the tape - if you painted it 1/2 hour before then of course just about any tape will bring it off.
