Matt over eggshell???

Hi,

I have painted my walls in one of our bedrooms in dulux diamond eggshell. I really don’t like the finish or Sheen. It’s just had one coat.

Can I paint over this with a Matt finish or would I need to sand down and prime?

Depends on the paint. I would play it safe and use an undercoat which you can get tinted to your chosen colour of just use a white.
If it's just the bathroom then stick to one coat of white waterbased undercoat then paint with a suitable bathroom matt paint
