Hi everyone, anybody know if you can use volex breakers in a mem consumer unit???

i think that wylex breakers fit the MEM merea boards

you can get the breakers for these boards from the wholesaler tho I have converted a cartrage fuse board to Mcbs before

You should not fit MCBs into a CU of a different brand.

I think you can but only if the manufacturer specifies they are interchangable.

Can't see the point, MEM breakers are readily available and not expensive.

The Type Approval will be done for MEM devices in a MEM enclosure.

Wylex is not the same company as MEM.

You can however interchange Bill Talisman, Eaton, Memera 2000, Memera 2000 AD and Memshield 2 in certain ways, since they are the same company with different brandnames (except that the Domestic devices will not accept the Industrial busbars).
