Hi all.

Currently have a vented system, cold water tank in loft as well as small F&E tank. In the airing cupboard I have a hot water cylinder and heating pump.
The boiler is downstairs and is a vaillant 418.

Can I have fitted a megaflo system and keep my existing boiler?
If so
Can the megaflo cylinder be fitted in the loft? So that I can recover the space used currently for the cylinder.

Thanks in advance View media item 70416

Why does it matter that the pump if green. And yes the boiler can stay and the megaflow could go in the loft as long as the joists up there are up to the job to take the weight

Check first your dynamic pressure and flow on your cold main.

An engineer would advise if you need to upgrade to a larger cold supply for an unvented ( always preferable ). Although if you have 2 bar and 20 litres a minute on a 15mm supply, it will work on a reduced performance.

Pointless fitting it all to find its carp, although there other things you can do if you can't upgrade your main
