Metabo kgs 216m issues

Hi guys. Just bought a metabo kgs 216m. Before using i thought i would check the angles and adjust if necessary.
When doing so i noticed that the turntable is about 1mm higher than the surrounding table on the left and pretty much spot on on the right. Is this normal? Or do i have a dodgy one?

To update this in case anyone else has the issue. I spoke to the Metabo tech department and it should not be like this. I exchanged it for another one and this one was perfect. The 90 degree angles were also almost spot on out of the box with only a little adjustment needed on the bevel angle.
