Hiya Martin,
I guessed it was all going to be ripped out, just couldn't help picking holes in the old install thats all
Unless the DNO has a wayleave agreement with the owner of the property then he can ask for them to be removed, ok not likely to happen but they should at least replace them for some split-con or something similar. If it were my house I'd check if a wayleave agreement exists and if not ask the DNO to remove the tails especially as they are run internally, end of discussion. The power supply for next doors property runs along the eaves of my property, I'm not exactly pleased about it but as its outside its not worth the hassle or getting the DNO to remove it.
Anyway rant over lol, any chance of some pics when then work is complete?
