Hi
This machine seems to start fine, pumps out, fills then runs for about 30 seconds when the inlet/drain light starts flashing and the machine stops mid cycle.
Have checked all filters, inlet and outlet pipes, sink drain, tray underneath for leaks, pressed all buttons in various orders.! but no joy :x Even had an a service guy round who spent an hour checking everything was working but again no joy.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could be a problem with blocked spray arms, circulation pump (blocked/jammed impellor), or an issue with the pressostat attached to the circ pump. If the circulation motor can't build up enough pressure it will time-out & show the error you got. Use the search facility & type in "Miele dishwasher" or "inlet/drain light" etc, you will should find several other posts describing possible causes/remedies. If you don't find your answer there re-post.

Hi there, have exact the same symptoms with my Miele G-656 sci (G-856 US model). Did you find a solution that you can share? Already have changed level switch/heating with no success (used from eBay.
If I find no solution, I am considering upgrading the PCB with my own Arduino based controller...
Thanks in advance.

Pity an arduino can't load the dishwasher otherwise I would have tried that long ago.

Have you checked that its filling with enough water?

It does fill water just 2cm about the bottom, sump is full of water.
Running the electrospar program, I got these timings:
It drains good for about 30"
opens intake valve, water comes in about 1min
drains again, circulation pump is on - good pressure about 30"
STOPS - Zu / Ablauf LED on (Inlet/Drain)

Does this model have any test programs to read any fault codes?

Do you have a meter to hand?
Check the heating element and any sensors, thermostats etc...

Measured almost everything: R1:18.2 Ohm, R2:18.5Ohm, thermal fuses ok, relays all working (main 230V and pcb mounts 12V), heating level switch (NO) OK, overflow switch (NC) OK, temp sensor OK (~48 Ohms).

Thinking trying to trigger the PCB CHN 410-600 triacs with an arduino and see how it goes. Any ideas?

Overflow switch (NC), are you sure its normally closed and shouldn't be NO?

Does it have a water inlet flow sensor?
