miele g694 sc+3 2002? not finishing cycle

hi all, tnx for your interest:

first rinse cycle not completed
drain light flashes
inlet is clear, i have checked the filter is clear
the flashing drain light stops when start button is held down
machine drains when restarted, but then gets stuck again
disconnected the drain and put into a basin, makes no difference

dw man found the 'H/P switch cover' to be faulty, this likely ?

will cost about 110 to replace ?

what's your call on this ? machine is 2002, so money down the drain and replace the machine, or these mieles go on and on ?

Sounds like an F05 error (which can have several causes).
I guess you didn't call a Miele engineer to diagnose the problem...because I have never heard of anything called "HP switch cover" on a Miele dishwasher.

The only HP ive heard off goes on my bacon sarnies ! . It sounds like who ever you called has just come out with some meaningless jargon try someone else
