Miele T294 C condensing tumble dryer - no heat

i have an aging Miele T294 C that refuses to heat. Same symptoms on automatic programmes as on the timed programmes - after about 3-5 minutes the alarm buzzer sounds and then the Machine iron LED repeatedly flashes.

Just wondering if it's had its day and I need to look for a replacement, or it's easily fixable.

Have you tested things like the element and any temperature seonsors/thermostats and connected wiring?

No and to be honest not sure how to

The rear NTC by the heating element. Do you have a meter and can you measure the resistance of the NTC?

Unplug the machine first
