Do you have the equipment, (i.e. test meter), to see if the switch is 'live'? If it isn't, and you can show the council it has been terminated in the fuse box, then you have nothing to worry about. Just put the heaters back in place and get FIL to do a MWC.

They all have 2 wall switches one off peak and one which is live for the convection heater part of it, which is labeled heater ring on the fuse board. Off peak fuse trips are dead as blank off by EDF. My FIL won't do the certificate, nor will another electrician I called up. But I think we have just found one who can come over Thursday. I have noticed the on switch for the convection heater part on the front of one of the heater won't switch, it's jammed solid. Im assuming the mwc is just going to show they are correctly wired in and not much to do with functionality?
