I bought a somewhat used Redeye mitre saw today at a car boot for £15.
The motor is fine and the saw has all the teeth!
The slides are not very smooth unless you take the weight of the motor at first. I have oiled the rods.
On the right it has two plastic oil seal like slide bearings.
But on the left it has a reversed bearing /seal. This has the seal on the outside and a metal slide bearing on the inside. But only ONE towards the front.
Are these ( only ) three bearing/seals how these are supplied?
Or did the Chinese maker forget the fourth bearing?
Why are they two different types?
