I bought one of these cheap and well used at a car boot. Its pretty typical with a 1800w saw motor and a 12" slide.
The problem is that the slide runs through a boxed section of the tilt mechanism.
But it does not run smoothly because there are only THREE bearings. The fourth has no plastic bearing.
There is no indication that there ever was a fourth although any engineer would expect one!
If I could find some similar material then I could probably make one on a lathe.
Does anyone know if it may have been sold with only three bearings?
Any suggestion of something made of plastic I could use to make a new bearing?
Tony
