I'm repairing a single story building originally built from 6 inch concrete block. The missing sections of wall are being built with 100mm block then the whole building has to be dry lined with 4x2. The brickie ran out of dense concrete blocks and laid 3 courses of thermalite. Can he carry on and lay dense concrete on top of these? Obviously the wall will support the roof eventually.
