Mobile Texecom Keypad App No Notifications

Hi everyone,

I have an issue with the Texecom Keypad app after changing phones. I used to get app notifications on SET/UNSET/ALARM states, but after a phone change, i have lost them all. I have tried to register the app, which seems to have worked but then get an error, when i goto Notifications under the site Edit option:

Server Error
A TLS error caused the secure connection to fail.

I am using COMIP and can set the alarm/deactivate ok so know its communicating ok but just the Notifications isnt working for some reason.

hi yes the app is no longer supported. i cant update the system so not sure how to proceed or work out how to get the notifications working.
 
Hi not sure what I’m looking for on option 4?
Put in engineer code, option 7, then option 4…then not sure what else to do from there?

It’s just the notifications really I wana try and get working again? It was ok until I had to get it reset when I had some building work down. Everything else is works fine.
 
you can add a smart com, as for getting the notifications to work, you would need the specific server addresses I would guess for the com ip to send to.

you can have your own server and use montex texbase to process or HA integration.

If this was working until the building work and the panel was reset, can you not put the old Texecom server ip addresses as in the manual?
Trying to understand the failure point, all our customers upgraded to smart coms that had com ips or com wifi modules.
 
Hi, thanks for the reply. I’ve put all the ips back in, can do a test call, can control the panel remotely via the app but not sure what I’m missing or maybe it’s stopped working across all comip connected apps?

I’ll double check the panel settings from the manual in case I’ve missed it but seems all communications work mostly apart from notifications.
