hi again, ive checked the settings (encryption keys) in the app against whats held in the panel and it all matches with com1 set to "1" in Encrypted Ports under UDL/Digi Options, Setup Modules. In Wintex, under Comms, Radio-pad and Com Port Options, there is an Encryption checkbox, which is also ticked. Wintex has the same 32bit key against the user account which ive updated. The app didnt have a key initially until i clicked on generate and the issues started from there. but assume its more secure now but just the notifications/alerts have stopped after this.
