Monobloc Flexi Ends?

Hey guys,

Quick one for you pros....why do monobloc flexis have different taps ends on them? I notice that one has a longer stem than the other.

Its to do with not having the spanner tightening locations next to each other,the spanner locations are off set so it should be easy to tighten up further if required with a set spanner,

true although oddly they also tell you to only hand tighten them!
