This is just opinion, so here is mine. BJ wants to be a Brexit hero, he will champion any deal that is marginally better Than TMs deal. He'll get it through if MPs realise the alternative is no deal Brexit.

You cannot keep voting a deal down, if there is no consensus on an alternative. I do appreciate that many MPs view of a satisfactory Brexit is to cancel A50 and sweep the whole idea under the carpet.

There is no consensus for a deal because the Leave campaign sold the vision of a Brexit that does not exist.
Which is why the arguments go around in circles.

The danger with Johnson is that he and the Tories have no interest in the real issues surrounding Brexit.

It is 100% about ssving the Tory party and self interest.
So Johnson has a devious plan of a people vs parliament election

Johnson doesnt want to be a Brexit hero, he just wants to be PM.
He would happily revoke A50 if it meant more power to him.

His only Brexit option is no deal.
Any other option wont be accepted by ERG or Brexit party.
And EU wont agree a FTA before 31st Oct, esp as he isnt even negotiating.
