We've probably all heard of hex bolts and hex (allen) keys and the like. Does anyone know where you can get the Pentagonal equivalents from. This anti tamper proof tomfoolery is very annoying.
Laser tools are where I get mine....busy with Bendix or Girling brakes, Eddie? Not a huge demand!

It's multiple massive (1st world problem ) irritations. Yes pentbolts or whatever they are called, pentalobes 5 point torx, tri-stars, the list goes on and on and on.... annoying.

I see 5 sided bolts feature quote heavily in welding forums..... now I wonder why 
Tri wing screws are cool....with a driver in your pocket you can partially dismantle your 737 on the way to Spain

One last question... bear in mind I have no access to any tools at the present time. I presume a 10mm hex allen key is 10mm point to point, and a penta key would be also 10mm point to point?

No, it's "across flats", same as a nut or bolt.

Yes indeed on a pentagonal socket, where would 10mm be, point to point, point to flat or flat to flat ? Reason I ask, is that I have access to an engineering lathe, and I am tempted to make a set of pentagonal keys
