Stupid reports. In the UK the mantra was save the NHS. Why not argue about that. Covid has meant that they are a long long way behind on routine work.
Lockdowns end and control waves. End of, that's what they do.
Why they matter. It so obvious I wont be mentioning the reasons again. ~700,000 have been treated in hospital in total for for ~160,000 deaths so far. How many do you think would die if they couldn't be treated due to hospital overload? Vaccines have changed things for some time now. This figures are for ~17,000,000 known infections.
Some politician or the other feels there needs to be international talks about what to do in the face of a pandemic. Lockdowns of some form have always figured in epidemics etc when needed but there are probably better ways of handling them than has been used here.
Epidemics - any of those more or less anywhere will go pandemic these days.
They are adding reinfections to the numbers now. Interesting comment about a bus driver. 3 times. 3rd and he died.
