Uni's need to fill the seats or go bust.
They wouldn't desperately need to fill seats if they hadn't gone through massive expansion.

Massive expansion? Oh, you're referring to the Brexit catastrophook. They wouldn't desperately need to fill seats if they hadn't gone through massive expansion.

Not a problem if they weren't so reliant on income. They wouldn't desperately need to fill seats if they hadn't gone through massive expansion.

probably has 5 degrees with honours, probably runs a council or top civi;l service job - these are the folk they go forWith the title i thought Denso was going for his 5th degree![]()
But everything is Blair's fault, innit...

No, never forget, but don't get stuck in the past.Let's not forget illegal wars, bankrupt economy, mass immigration, etc, etc, etc.

It doesn't work like that.probably has 5 degrees with honours
No chance.probably runs a council or top civi;l service job
Ad hom noted.why do you think the country is going down the pan

Most colleges couldn't afford the level of equipment that universities have, also most of the Lecturers are PhD qualified and have a much better understanding of a subject than a technical college has. A lot of research is done at University's along with strong ties to leading blue chip commpanies. Had you actually been to University then you would have known the big differences with university's and technical colleges.University is not a good route to getting a career job.
Employers don’t like University graduates because they have zero experience.
For many vocations some form of apprenticeship scheme with sponsorship to higher education is a better route.
We would be far better off expanding Further Education Technical colleges as there are many people who are very capable but not best suited to academic based education.
Ah right. So why did Labour put the university fees instead of abolishing them like they said they would?Mottie has twigged that capitalism doesn’t have the best outcomes
Mottie is a Conservative and Reform supporter….parties that drive free market capitalism.
Right. So that’s the last we’ll hear from you about 14 years of conservative rule, is it?No, never forget, but don't get stuck in the past.

I don't think I mention it that much, I don't use it as my go to excuse for everything.Right. So that’s the last we’ll hear from you about 14 years of conservative rule, is it?

They said it was unaffordable. So why did Labour put the university fees instead of abolishing them like they said they would?
