Mother Theresa's fighting talk !!

Most of the problems we have at the minute are really down to our own making, because whilst the EU can override our courts decisions, most of our judges pre-empt that possibility by considering what the EUs decision would be, rather than making their own. But I suspect that the EU has managed to instil such a level of subconscious control over most of our various agencies, that they are always considering what they shouldn't do, rather than thinking about doing their job properly. And whilst the EU also insists on freedom of movement, I think that somewhere in the UK legislation, is the ability to insist on people having a job first.

The police are more interested in diversity and political correctness than in catching criminals, and the prisons don't bother checking to see if a foreign prisoner should be deported on their release. And strangely enough, Theresa May presided over the home office, and therefore border control, but did very little to enforce any controls, nor to get rid of any of the million illegal migrants (and that's just the ones they know about) that are here.

It's our generous benefits system that's a draw for a lot of immigrants, and a better way of life for a lot of the illegal one - until they get caught, which is when they then seek political asylum, except that a leading asylum judge recently let the beans spill, in that she rejects 9 out of 10 applicants as being economic refugees, but they then walk out of court rather than get deported.

Blair wanted uncontrolled immigration to rub diversity into the noses of the tory establishment, and Brown allowed it to continue to help keep wages down. Cameron did nothing because he was even more of a non entity politician that's after superstar status.

Only time will tell whether TM is going to shake up not only the governments attitudes, and those of all the various departments, but the NHS, local councils, schools and all the rest of the incompetent ner-do-wells that manage to screw up our lives, and to see is she stand up well in the in the honesty stakes. If she does, I may start up a petition to insist all future PMs are women.

European leaders insist that free movement of goods and services comes hand in hand with the free movement of people.

Well done! Did you not know?:(

How many countries outside the eu have to accept people for goods?
You mean the ones that don't benefit from the single market?

These scroats never give in do they?
Are you bleating and moaning about leaving the EU or just bleating and moaning about the EU privileges we will lose?

Oh....lol.

When we finally break our ties with the EU we will of course be able to send all the scroungers back from where they came won't we?

All EU nationals currently living in Britain will be allowed to stay following Brexit, after the Home Office discovered that five in six could not legally be deported.

There are around 3.6 million EU citizens living in the UK, more than 80 per cent of whom will have permanent residency rights by the time Britain leaves the union in early 2019, official research has concluded.

The remainder – more than 600,000 people – will be offered an amnesty, with several Cabinet ministers telling The Telegraph that those citizens will be offered the right to stay permanently, in a policy that may prove controversial.

Well they deserve to lose the privilege of sending all and sundry across the channel for us to sort out for a start.

The European Commission itself says that over the next ten to 15 years, 90% of world demand will be generated outside europe .
We don't need weak and feeble politicians any more kowtowing to an overpaid cartel of conmen who have never done a days work in their lives.

Just watch europe disintegrate when the uk isn't there to share the burden created by liberal left elites.
They must be cacking themselves right now.

Who is 'they'? And how did they send these people - exactly?

Do you think that the UK will be in a better place to supply that demand once we are unshackled from the EU?

It appears that the leaders of commerce and industry don't share your euphoria about not being in the single market:
A group of major business lobby groups has written an open letter urging the government to preserve barrier free trade with Europe.

The letter is signed by leaders of the CBI and manufacturers' body the EEF.

It says the way in which the UK leaves the EU and on what terms is critical for jobs and investment in the UK.

I wait with interest to see if these German/French politicians attempt to ruin some of there own businesses out of spite.

Leaving will be made difficult and expensive as they will want to make an example of us in order to put other members off.

The I told you so muppets will have a field day.

ha ha, very funny to see the anti-EU Quitters suggesting that the other nations will act like the Quitters did, and decide to damage their own economies for reasons of prejudice and dogma.

Let's hope that they are more adult about the tiny proportion of their trade that goes to UK, than the Quitters were about the very large proportion of UK trade that goes to the EU.

Though it's more than the Quitters have any right to expect.

In the seventies and eighties thousands of mostly unemployed building workers went to Germany to work.
The German building workers treated them with respect and friendliness, and were well impressed with the all round knowledge and skilled ability of the Brits and Paddies.

Migrant work works both ways. And now?
