Mother Theresa's fighting talk !!

In the seventies and eighties thousands of mostly unemployed building workers went to Germany to work.
The German building workers treated them with respect and friendliness, and were well impressed with the all round knowledge and skilled ability of the Brits and Paddies.

Migrant work works both ways. And now?
Don't talk daft ........they worked there their families were here and they came back home ......Just like the retired plaster in our close there wasn't a mass migration you muppet it's totally different now.

Describe to me the sort of people that would not want that to happen

Lets see, Merkel, Hollande, Junkers, far too many to list here.

And because they've been so stupid and arrogant in letting things get this far, I suspect they'll quite happily cut off their noses to spite their faces partially because if they give us a deal that benefits us, and therefore by extension, themselves as well, they're shtye scarred that others will decide to leave as well.

Poor guy instantly missing whats on the page. All that shouting. I must have hurt you. Sorry for that.

Many of the Poles & east Europeans who come here can get by in three languages whereas you lack the ability to read a post of watch my lips simplicity in your own language.

Where do you propose the next cohort of unemployed Brits head for work - name one country that would now welcome them? Not counting Gibraltar of course.

 Syria will be in dire need of builders & construction workers

And if Trump gets in there could well be other major construction sites created ;)

That's exactly what the Quitters voted for, in wanting to resign membership and throw away free access to the single market.

We can hope that the rest of Europe will be more adult than the Quitters.

But the Quitters have no right to expect better treatment than they want to hand out.

The sort of people who decide to put 44% of their nation's exports at risk, while having no arrangements in place to reduce the damage? I'd call them Quitters.

Its not all about money for some people.
May is gonna order the bank of England to raise interest rates so your cash pile will earn you more.
You should be happy.

That's what I said.

The Quitters.

The Quitters wanted to dump free access to the single market.

So that's what they'll get.

This is what you might call "cutting off your nose to spite your face" - abandoning a profitable trading arrangement for dogmatic reasons.

Are the Quitters going to complain if some of the European nations want to do the same?

Are you so ignorant?

What do you think Resigning from the EU means?
