Hi,
I'm currently renovating our new house. Most external walls are getting 35mm Thermaline Plaserboard on them inc the kitchen. The boiler will be going on the wall in the kitchen and I wondered if anyone had any advice about mounting a boiler onto a wall with thermaline board on it. Are there special rawlplug that should be used.
I've not yet discussed this properly with the plumber or plasterer. All I've said to the plasterer is that I plan to do this and he seemed to think it would be fine. I'd have thought the screws would need to go into the brick work though and obviously that will be nearly 40mm deep once the board is mounted.
Has anyone done this or have any advice for me?
Cheers.
