Hi,

I have just bought a wallmount from argos.
http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/s...ogId=1500002451&langId=-1&searchTerms=9247345.

As it says It doesnt come with the wall fixings to attach it to the wall. And this is where I need help.

I am hoping to mount my samsung 40" TV to the wall using this mount, and it says in the book "Use Bolts and Washers (not included) to fix the bracket to the wall".

So my question is what bolts and washers should I use, and what wall plugs to go with it. I think its the normal red brick in my walls.

Any help would be great

thanks.

Ive used brown and/or red plugs with no problems with good strong screws, 6 or 7 fixings along top and bottom with washers and I could have swung from the bracket!

The choice of fixings really depends on what sort of wall you intend putting it on. Solid brick? I'd go for something like JohnBoy suggests.
Dot & Dabbed wall? Perhaps some fischer fixings (so you know they are reaching solid material. ;) ;) ;)

Hey the fixings really do depend on what wall type you have, if you have a solid wall i would recomend 10mm wall plugs and 70mm long coach bolt screws, if its plasterboard find the studs and use 70mm coach bolts but be sure to hit the centre of the stud you will probably need a detector. If in doubt get the professionals in I found these guys. http://www.plasmainstalls.co.uk
