Movie recommendations.

Apart from his roles you can name in a top ten hit list of classic movies, i recommend this:

I watched that years ago I thought it was pretty boring :censored: maybe I'll have to have a rewatch

Recently finished this, pretty good I thought, few funny parts aswell.

13 hours in Benghazi: Not a bad film but i just finished reading the book which is way better; full of detail the movie didn't work into the narrative.
I find that often, that movies barely touch most of that contained in the book.
The Handmaids Tale is a perfect example. It took something like 6 seasons, with about 12 episodes in each season to cover the content of the book.

For anyone is interested there is a sequel, called The Testaments. I haven't read it yet.

Groundhog Day, it’s a reminder of the endless repetitive posts on GD about far age and immigration

Nothing better to do on a rainy day? You can pass the time enjoying Mel Gibson's best movie We Were Soldiers. Saw the movie when it was in cinemas and only read the book last year; pleased to say it faithfully narrates the book, and my favourite moment when the Sgt. Mjr* growls at the cowering photographer "you won't take many pictures down there sonny", is a direct quote from the battle.

*His name was Basil Plumley; retired on 31/12/74 after 32 years service, including two tours of Vietnam - awarded the Combat Infantryman's Badge with two stars; two Silver Stars; Two Bronze Stars; Four Purple Hearts and a list of awards and honours which tell of distinguished service in the Corps. The kind o' guy you're glad to have at your back during a battle such as they faced at La Drang Valley in November 1965.

**Fun Fact #22. The photographer was Joseph Galloway, later interviewed for the Ken Burn's documentary on the Vietnam War.
