Moving a mains water supply pipe

I have a c1960 -1970's house and am currently renovating the kitchen, the water supply pipe comes up from a concrete floor in the corner of the kitchen and about 4 inches from each wall, there is currently an adapted cupbaord there however i would like to put a tumble dryer in its place (next to the washing machine and outside wall). The pipe is a black plastic which appears to be (based on info from this site) to be aclyethene but i may be wrong.

My plan is to dig up the floor surrounding this and then bend it away and bring it up in a recess in a stud wall and have a access panel for the stop cock on the other side of this wall (which is the hallway)

The reason for this post is just to seek the experts advice whether this is the best option or is there a better one or if i am just going to make my life hell especially based on the posts about this aclyethene piping

Any sudjestions would be great

p.s placing the tumble dryer somewhere else is not really a viable option unless these isn't another one!

you have 2 options, leave the pipe where it is or move it

getting connections to fit black alc isn't that bad, if your unsure of the size cut a pieceout and take it along to a plumbers merchants.

The black polythene pipe will be imperial sized, ½" has 21.5mm OD and ¾" has 27mm OD. It should be sleeved and insulated where in passes under the property wall and rises up through the floor.
