Moving a semi concealed Gas Meter

I have a semi concealed gas meter that is in the "wrong place". Legally do I have to get Transco to move it or can I employ a corgi reqistered plumber to do it?

A corgi can fit or replace them, as far as I'm aware though, Transco would have to move it cos you need to go upstream from the valve. I might be wrong though.

I don't think you are wrong though. I'm almost 100% this would require Transco.

Transco move the service pipe, RGI can re-connect the meter and test.
